A Florida man is suing Outback Steakhouse after he says a toilet broke apart…while he was using it. Michael Green visited the restaurant in Ocala on March 26th and went to use the bathroom. According to court papers, Green was sitting on the toilet in the handicap stall when it suddenly shattered and collapsed beneath him.
The lawsuit says Green suffered serious injuries from the incident. Green is accusing the restaurant chain of not taking proper care of its bathroom and failing to keep the toilet in a safe condition, and is asking for more than $50,000 in damages. The lawsuit has been filed in court, but no outcome has been reported yet.
