There are some mistakes that shouldn’t happen twice, and this is one of them. A German family accidentally turned a 20th birthday party into a dangerous fireworks show when they mistakenly used actual fireworks instead of sparkler candles on a cake. The viral video shows Askin Acar leaning over his birthday cake while family members light what they thought were regular sparklers, but within seconds, the room fills with flames and screams as the "candles" shot off like a professional pyrotechnics display.
Nobody seems sure how a box of fireworks ended up being used as cake decorations, but the video has gotten over 100,000 views and joins a growing collection of birthday party disasters online. This isn't the first time this has happened, as a similar incident occurred in Brazil last year when friends lit what they thought were cake sparklers at a restaurant, causing chaos among diners.
