Most everyone has dug into a cup of instant noodles at some point, but a man in Japan has taken the food to an entirely different level. Called “Japan’s Instant Ramen King,” Sokusekisai Oyama has eaten the food at least once a day for the last 30 years, starting when he was in university. He estimates that it adds up to over 10,000 cups of noodles he’s eaten so far.
He's not just doing it for fun, either; the former illustrator with a degree in engineering is now a professional cup noodle critic. He regularly appears on Japanese television and won TV Tokyo’s Instant Noodle Championship in 1995. Live your dream.
