When you’re good, you’re good. Police are investigating the death of a woman who was told by a palm reader in Brazil that she didn’t have long to live. A cousin of the deceased told the authorities that an old woman had stopped the victim and asked to read her palm, gave her the bad news, and then handed her a piece of chocolate as a gift, which the woman ate.
Hours after she ate the chocolate, she started having symptoms like vomiting, dizziness, and blurred vision. She died in the hospital the next day, but it wasn’t until this week that toxicology reports came back. Brace yourself for a shock, but her body had high concentrations of pesticides. Police are trying to find the palm reader to ask a few pointed questions.
