A man in the Netherlands has admitted to keeping his deceased dad in a freezer for more than a year so he could “still talk to him.” The 82-year-old was found out when his doctor asked authorities to do a wellness check on him. That’s when they discovered the remains of his 101-year-old father in a home freezer.
While he’s not being charged with foul play, the son has been given one week to tidy up the house, which was found in complete disarray. After that, the octogenarian will be evaluated on whether he is still allowed to live by himself.
