A group of engineering students at Johns Hopkins University is helping solve the truly important problems of the world. The group has invented what they call Tastee Tape, an edible adhesive to keep the ingredients inside burritos and wraps.
The team says Tastee Tape is made of “an edible adhesive comprising a food-grade fibrous scaffold,” but they’re keeping their exact recipe a secret while they apply for a patent. The product has apparently undergone quite a bit of testing already, though, with the group saying they’ve used it on “too many burritos to count.”
