When there are video of tourists being idiots we love it when they get what is coming to them, but this one is a bit different. There's a viral video that's making the rounds of a bull bison at Yellowstone National Park charging at a man who was visiting with his grandson. The grandpa tries to run around some trees to avoid the bison. But the bison eventually catches up with him, and flings him up into the air like a rag doll. The estimates are that flew at least eight feet into the air, and then landed hard! He was seriously injured, but thankfully he's expected to make a full recovery. He suffered a broken leg and required surgery. The National Park Service is investigating the incident, but it doesn't sound like anyone acted inappropriately. That said, even if you are acting responsibly, wild animals can be unpredictable and dangerous, even from a distance. Check it out:
