A podcast that traces the formation and rise of Guns N' Roses with rare photos, footage and personal accounts from people who were there to see it has just launched its second season.
The First 50 Gigs: Guns N' Roses and the Making of 'Appetite for Destruction' tells the stories behind the iconic American hard rock band and some of their most famous songs.
After launching last year with hosts Marc Canter and Jason Porath, The First 50 Gigs is onto season 2.
"There isn't a better person to release any material to do with the coming together and the history of Guns N' Roses and where it went and what was going on behind the scenes than Marc," Slash said of the podcast.

Season 1 narrates how L.A. Guns morphed into GNR and then provides an intimate look at the infamous Appetite for Destruction lineup's first-ever show.
Canter meticulously documented every gig he attended in Los Angeles in the '80s and built up an unprecedented media archive from that era.
