Chris Cornell's Daughter Toni Releases Single To Benefit Children's Charity

Chris Cornell's incredibly talented 15-year-old daughter Toni Cornell has just release a new song that was produced by her dad.

Toni wrote the ballad, "Far Away Places," when she was 12, according to Rolling Stone. Chris himself produced it and recorded it at his home studio in Miami, roughly three months before he died.

The song is also featured in a short film of the same name, which is currently touring the film festival circuit.

Keeping in her parents' tradition of generosity, proceeds from the sale of Toni's song will be donated to the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

Chris and Toni often sang together at home or during Chris's solo concerts.

A few months after Chris's death, she sang a rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" with OneRepublic on Good Morning America, dedicated to her dad and to late-Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington.

Last year, for Father's Day, Toni released a heartbreaking duet version of her dad's arrangement of "Nothing Compares 2 U," one of his favorite songs.
