Man Has Two Salons Where People Pay To Get Scratched

DW: Not gonna lie, I'd pay for a good long head scratch...

A Chinese entrepreneur has opened two unusual salons where customers pay to relax by having someone gently scratch their bodies. Thirty-two-year-old Zhang Xiaochao got the idea after watching a video of a woman scratching her husband's back and reading comments from people who said they would pay for the same treatment. Zhang remembered how much he enjoyed having his own back scratched as a child and decided to turn the idea into a business.

Customers lie down while workers wearing pointed plastic fingernails gently scratch them, with an hour-long session costing about $41. Zhang opened his first salon in Shenzhen in May and quickly added a second location. The two businesses now bring in around $15,000 a month, and he hopes to open 100 more salons across China.
