A Florida woman won a Mortal Kombat tournament while holding her five-day-old baby. Legi0n is a 3D artist and mom who competed at Juicy Game Night in Orlando. Her daughter Cereza was born five days earlier by C-section on September 22nd. The pregnancy was complicated because Legi0n had developed a uterine window, where the uterus wall had thinned from previous C-sections. She also had severe pain before birth, and doctors said if she'd gone into labor naturally, her uterus could have ruptured.
At the tournament, she held baby Cereza in her arms while working through the bracket. She even beat her own husband on the way to the finals, where she won 3-2 against King Kai. She took home $28 and a trip to DreamHack Atlanta, and yes…that’s not a typo, she won just under thirty bucks. Legi0n said she wants people to know parents can still do things they love while taking care of kids.
