DW: "Welcome to Two Wheeled Trailer Park. First month of air for your tires is FREE!"
A Canadian man has invented a great solution for people who donât have any place to get out of the cold. This summer, Ryan Donais got tired of seeing people sleeping outside and decided to do something about it. Heâs building small modular homes attached to bicycles that can travel on Ontarioâs bike lanes if they have to be moved. The homes cost around $10,000 each to build, and the first three were mostly paid for with donations through GoFundMe.
Theyâre tiny, but theyâre fully functional. Each home has electricity, heat, and running water, along with a smoke detector and a carbon monoxide alarm. Theyâre not meant to be permanent, but theyâre a great temporary solution for those sleeping on the street. And yes, that means the sight of someone biking their house to a new location is going to become more common in Ontario.
