Kangaroo Makes Drivers Late To Work In West Virginia

DW: Betcha that made some good eatin'..woop woop

Drivers in West Virginia faced an unexpected delay during their Friday morning commute—a kangaroo was hopping down Mud Fork Road in Logan County. Noah Manns, who captured the unusual sight, shared his confusion and amusement. "I was driving to work, and we had five cars in front of us that stopped in the middle of the road," Manns told WVVA-TV. "When I finally saw what was happening, there was a kangaroo hopping up the road."

Manns posted photos of the kangaroo on Facebook, joking, "Of all things, what is a full-grown kangaroo doing running around the streets?" He later learned that the kangaroo belonged to local residents who had raised it from infancy. The kangaroo was safely returned home. Beth Southern from the West Virginia Department of Agriculture confirmed that kangaroos are legal to keep as pets in the state.
