DW: Great. Another sport I can suck at...
Move over, pickle ball. An new game called Pepper Pong is gaining popularity as a space-saving, social alternative to traditional ping pong. Created by Tom Filippini during his battle with addiction to stave off loneliness, all it needs is a portable net and weighted foam balls. Tom adds, âI call it isolation Kryptonite.â
Played in cramped spaces from hotel rooms to tiny bedrooms, Pepper Pong gets people moving and connecting. But game's true appeal lies in its sheer fun and accessibility, allowing anyone to participate without needing a full-size table. Filippini now sells a $70 set, complete with paddles. So far, heâs sold over 10-thousand sets.
