Turns out that the more protein that is consumed during pregnancy, the more active these genes, known as "mTORC1," become.
Itâs not all about what momâs munching on though â genetics still play a big part in the facial game. And it's not just humansâŚFish babies can score longer, sleeker noses if their moms dine on low-nutrition meals. It's evolution's way of giving them a leg up foraging for food in areas with low availability.
