DW: Hell, I do this for free at my dinner table every night!!
A restaurant in Japan packs quite a punch. The eatery called Shachihoko-ya in Nagoya, Japan, allows customers to pay servers to slap them in the face. For about $2, a stoic woman wearing a Kimono will slap patrons over and over again until, sometimes, they’re knocked out of their chairs. You can even pay for the server of your choice to haul off on you for the price of $3.40.
Meanwhile, it turns out that both men and women enjoy the restaurant’s publicity stunt, though their slapper will always be female. And people don’t just like the extra service…they love it. People who pay for the pop often thank the waitstaff after receiving the snack shop smack.
