30-year-old life coach Marissa Baker from Naples, Florida is hitting back at her critics on TikTok. Baker has posted some candid videos to the app about her two failed marriages, but a recent video has blown up in a way that she says surprises her, having been viewed over 600k times and filled with comments judging her.
The commenters are saying things like “Why would anybody hire a life coach who’s been married and divorced twice? That’s like hiring a tutor that failed out of school, twice.” Another said a twice-divorced life coach was the “best joke I’ve heard all day.”
Baker says she’s puzzled by how angry people are, and says “Your mistakes don’t disqualify you,” and that she’s “uniquely qualified” to counsel others.
