Congrats to the Winners From the Central Va. St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway

Congratulations to all of the winners from the 2024 Central Virginia St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.

The prize drawings were done live on ABC 13 - WSET during the evening newscasts.

This year's Giveaway raised $1.25 million for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Over the past six years, the Central Virginia St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway has raised more than $5 million for the kids at St. Jude.

This year's home is a 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath, two-story house with a double garage and great outdoor living space worth $520,000.

It's located in the Blackwater Run development in the Rivermont area of Lynchburg.

In addition to the home, the other prizes included a $10,000 VISA Gift Card courtesy of Bank of the James, a 2024 Ford Maverick truck courtesy of Your Southern Virginia Ford Dealers, and a $10,000 VISA Gift Card courtesy of the Dream Day Foundation.

Here are the lucky winners:

• Dream Day Foundation $10,000 VISA Gift Card: Kenneth Burdette of Huddleston

And the winner of this year's St. Jude Dream Home: Holly Haddox of Lynchburg.

Tickets for the 2024 Dream Home Giveaway became available in May and all 12,500 tickets were scooped up in a matter of days.

But the real winners are the kids at St. Jude where no family ever receives a bill for treatments or food, travel, or lodging.
