Give your TIME at Gleaning For The World on Giving Tuesday during their Volunteer Open House!

Giving Tuesday, November 28, is day in which, traditionally, the public is invited to donate financially to the nonprofits they support.

But this year, Gleaning For The World, a Concord-based nonprofit, is offering a unique way to give on Giving Tuesday by asking supporters to give their TIME, instead.

While financial donations are always appreciated, the ultimate goal for GFTW on that day is to invite supporters to give of their time through volunteering in the nonprofit’s temperature-controlled Volunteer Center warehouse.

For 12 consecutive hours, from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 28, Gleaning is opening their Volunteer Center to the public for a volunteer open house!

There will be a variety of activities to choose from and you can volunteer for 30 minutes, a few hours, or all 12 hours!

Or, if you would just like to tour GFTW's warehouse facility, please stop by for a tour on Tuesday.

GFTW's Volunteer Warehouse and headquarters are located at 7539 Stage Rd in Concord, right off Rt. 460.

Gleaning For The World is an international faith-based non-profit humanitarian aid organization that provides supplies and assists victims of natural disasters around the U.S. and around the world.
