SURVEY SAYS 80% OF MEN BRING CONDOMS TO FUNERALS

Suit? Check. Tissues? Check. Condoms? Also check. A new study sponsored by Trojan condoms finds that 80% of men have brought protection to a funeral before. The State of Sex survey asked 2,000 adults ages 18 to 35 several questions and one of them was how “prepared” they get when attending a funeral or celebration of life.

As icky as it might sound to be open to a romp when people are in mourning, sexologist Patti Britton says there happens to be a connection between grief and libido. “The grief trajectory is about a loss of closeness – a loss of intimacy. That’s why our libido kicks in: To fill that.”
