Youâve probably heard of cucumber slices on the eyes as a fun little treat when youâre at the spa. But now thereâs something even juicier. In an endless hunt for perfect skin, many people on TikTok have taken toâŠpickle facials. Videos show people applying the briny treat, along with the juice, to their skin and theyâre racking up tons of views.

SoâŠdoes it work? Some experts, including dermatologist Christine Ko, MD, say there is in fact evidence that the acidity in pickle juice can help treat acne, tone skin, and even be used as a makeup remover. Dr. Ko even went so far as to say that some people might be better off using pickles as they could be less irritating than a traditional skincare product.
