A man in the UK says he’s being fined because he took too long to enjoy his McDonald’s. Shapour Meftah had met his brother at a McDonald’s in Cambridge, ordered “quite a bit of food,” and then sat in the parking lot and ate it.
The private parking company that runs the lot where he was parked thought he took too long, and claim he went past the 90-minute time limit for parking in the lot; they’ve issued him $124 in fines as a result. Why did he take so long? Meftah says he “didn’t want to rush” while eating, and plans to appeal the fines.
