Dallas Zoo Finds Leopard It Lost

DW: If they have the habit of losing animals, then they are gonna LOSE customers. Either by not showing up or being eaten by the escapees...

The Dallas Zoo tweeted on Friday that it was closed “due to a serious situation,” which turned out to be a missing leopard named Nova. The Dallas Police Department was called in to help with the search, and the zoo tweeted advice to people living in the area, asking them to “take a photo and DM us” if they spotted the cat.

The original tweet went out just after 10 a.m., and a follow-up tweet, at around 4 p.m., notified that the animal had been found uninjured…still on the zoo grounds and near her habitat. The Dallas PD says it’s launched an investigation to determine if the habitat was intentionally damaged.
