DW: I'm golden! My wife is 2.13 feet tall!
A guest column in the "New York Times" claims that mating with short people is better for the environment. AuthorĀ Mara AltmanĀ wrote the piece and said thatĀ Thomas SamarasĀ ācalculated that if we kept our proportions the same but were just 10 percent shorter in Americaā¦we would save 87 million tons of food per year.
She took it a step further, much to the amusement ofĀ people on Twitter, saying, āWhen you mate with shorter people, youāre potentially saving the planet by shrinking the needs of subsequent generations.ā She recommends that people lower the height minimum for partners on their dating profiles as āa step toward a greener planet.āĀ
