Imagine John Lennon turning up in your beer. Lee Baker, who was drinking with friends at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, says he saw the face of John Lennon in a pint of beer and said it “felt like a sign.” Of course, it might not have been a sign meant for him, as he spotted the face in the foam on a friend’s drink.
Baker says he grew up a huge fan of The Beatles and said the foamy image was “from before his bearded era in the ‘70s when he was more clean-cut.” He says it’s the only famous person’s face he’s ever seen in a drink.
