Most People Would Rather Shave Their Head Than Contact Customer Support

A recent survey of 2,000 Americans shows that 24% of people would rather shave their heads than talk to customer service. Conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Twilio Flex, the survey was designed to look at how customer service affects people’s habits, and it’s not just head-shaving that’s preferred to calling for help.

30% of respondents said they’d rather do their taxes, 28% said they’d prefer to go to the dentist, and 22% said they’d rather spend a night in jail than contact customer service. It’s not all bad news for companies; 80% of respondents said they’re more likely to be loyal to a company if they have a good customer service experience.
