Man Who Went To School With King Charles Kept Clipping Of Hair For 50 Years

Richard Kumnick was a student at Geelong Grammar School in Australia where King Charles III attended in 1966 as an exchange student for two terms. Richard says he was next in line behind Charles at a barber shop when the then-Prince got a haircut and saw his hair fall on the floor. What would you do in that situation?

It was an easy answer for Richard; he says he “noticed his hair drop onto the floor,” then he grabbed a “handful” of the hair and has kept it in an envelope ever since. Kumnick says Charles caught him smoking at school while serving as a prefect and confiscated his cigarettes but didn’t tell on him to a teacher.
