Evolution Is The Reason You Have Problems With Your Mother-In-Law

Don't like your mother-in-law? It's not your fault - in fact, a new study says it’s evolution in action. Psychologists surveyed 100 people on their relationships with their parents, children, and in-laws. They say both men and women reported poor relationships with their mother-in-law.

Fathers, on the other hand, were found to get along better with their daughters-in-law than their own family. The findings show that men and women have “significantly more’ conflict with their mothers-in-law than their own mothers.

What gives? Researchers say it’s because people "unconsciously act in the interest of their genetic kin."
