A woman is going viral on TikTok with a googly-eyed, sombrero-wearing pet rock made out of her dead dad’s ashes. User @mountaindewessance is being bombarded with well-meaning rock puns in her comments section after a video showing what had been done with her dad’s remains. He passed last December.
Now, she didn't come up with the idea. Apparently, her mom did...courtesy of the Parting Stone company...and sent her pic suggesting she "choose one." And she did...but she was both shocked and amused by the concept.
Some commenters were afraid she was angry about what her mom had done with her father’s ashes, but she says she’s “not mad at all” and loved her mom’s idea. One commenter said, “If your dad was the typical dad-joke loving dad, he’s 100% on board with this.” As for what she did with the rock...a sombrero and googly eyes.
