Update at 9:50 pm: TORNADO WARNING issued for Bedford, Botetourt, and Rockbridge Counties.
The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a TORNADO WATCH for our entire listening area through 3:00 am Wednesday.
Earlier, a tornado was confirmed on the ground in Montgomery County and the area of Virginia Tech.
