96.3 ROV Joins With US Marine Reserve Roanoke/Lynchburg for Toys For Tots

Help Bring the Joy of Christmas to Less Fortunate Children

The holiday season will be here before you know it and many area families will be struggling to make Christmas great for their kids, especially this year.

96.3 ROV and iHeartRadio Roanoke/Lynchburg are proud to partner with the US Marine Reserve in Roanoke and Lynchburg for this year's Toys for Tots campaign.

Last year in Roanoke, 18,032 toys were distributed and 4,236 children were supported. In Lynchburg last year, 6,476 toys were distributed and 2,050 children supported.

Please plan to give a new, unwrapped toy to a child in need this holiday season.

Mission House Coffee - Downtown, 722 Commerce St., Lynchburg, Friday, November 20 from 6 pm - 8 pm. Free drip coffee OR 25% off your purchase for those who drop off a toy during the toy drive!
Five Below Wards Crossing, 475-A Simons Run, Lynchburg, Wednesday, November 25, 96.3 ROV will be on site from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be a Humvee, Marines and the big 96.3 ROV truck. Come by and donate a toy!
Hoo Hoops Toys For Tots Event at Oakwood Country Club, 3409 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, Friday, December 4 from 5 pm - 7pm. Bring 1 toy and get 10% off your Hoo Hoops purchase. Bring 2 toys, get 20% off. Bring 3 toys, get 30% off.

In addition, The Avoca Museum in Altavista will be hosting a Toy Drive with Toys for Tots for their annual “Christmas at Avoca Celebration.” Those who wish, may bring toys of $5 or more value to the museum from November 30th-December 6th for the drive. One toy equals one free admission ticket. Guests may reserve their tour time when dropping off their donation from the dates of the event, December 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th. Those who wish to reserve over the phone can call the museum at (434) 369-1076. We invite everyone to come and experience an Edwardian Christmas at Avoca while enjoying prepackaged refreshments and activities on the lawn. Let Avoca welcome you home for the holidays.
