Bedford Sheriff's Office Looking for Victim's Vehicle After Man Found Dead

BEDFORD Co., Va. (WSET) -- The Bedford County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect after a 72-year-old man was found dead in his home in Bedford County Thursday.

The sheriff's office said they received a call from a citizen that a man was located inside his home on White House Road with apparent serious injuries Thursday, June 4.

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office arrived to the home in the 6000 block of White House Road in Moneta and found Jone Menna dead.

The sheriff's office along with the working with the Bedford Commonwealth Attorney’s Office obtained a warrant against Dalton W. Holbrook, of Indiana, for grand larceny of Menna's vehicle.

He is also a person of interest in the homicide investigation.

Holbrook is described as 6-foot-2, 140 pounds, with blonde hair and blue yes.

The missing vehicle is a white 2014 Hyundai Sonata with a Virginia tag of WNG-9916.

BEDFORD, Va., (WSET) -- The Bedford County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide and looking for the victim's vehicle.

The sheriff's office said they received a call from a citizen that a man was located inside his home on White House Road with apparent serious injuries Thursday, June 4.

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office arrived to the home in the 6000 block of White House Road in Moneta and discovered that the man had died.

Authorities are now trying to locate the victim's car, a 2014 White Hyundai Sonata with a Virginia tag of WNG-9916.
