After 3 Nights of Peaceful Protests, Lynchburg Lifts Mandatory Curfew

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- Lynchburg City leaders have lifted the mandatory curfew put in place this week after peaceful protests turned violent Sunday and Monday in Lynchburg.

The curfew is lifted for Friday evening and the weekend after three evenings of peaceful protests in the city.

The City Manager said she and Police Chief Ryan Zuidema may revisit the decision to institute a curfew should become necessary.
