University of North Florida Installs a Pizza ATM

Where was this when I was in college?

University of North Florida in Jacksonville recently installed a pizza vending machine. Yes, that's right, a vending machine for PIZZA! This incredible automated tell is in one of its residence halls on campus and they’re calling it “Pizza ATM.”

UNF is one of the first college campuses in the country to have this device. Ohio State has had a Pizza ATM for about a year. The Pizza ATM is capable of baking fresh pizza dough with sauce, cheese, and toppings to produce a 10-inch pie in under five minutes.

The “Pizza ATM” will begin serving up pies at a grand opening event for UNF students later in January. Each pizza costs around $9.00.
