Watch The Trailer For Upcoming RUSH Film 'Cinema Strangiato'

A new Rush film is hitting theaters for one night only on August 21.

The band's Cinema Strangiato: An Annual Exercise In Fan Indulgence will provide a closer look at Rush's final tour, R40, with exclusive live performance footage, backstage scenes and new interviews with notable Rush fans, like Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Taylor Hawkins and others.

The film also includes a section that dives into front man Geddy Lee's Big Beautiful Book of Bass, which he published last fall.

Rush revealed the news last month, and suggested that while the band might be finished recording and touring, there's plenty of audio-visual material in the vaults to keep producing new content.

Lee added that he's excited for fans to both revisit R40 and take a look at the making of his Book of Bass, a labor of love which he says began a little before R40 and continues to this day.
