Florida Man Told Cops He Would Rather Go To Jail Than Back Home To His Wife

A Florida man was granted his wish of going to jail after he was arrested for driving on top of his sunroof while speeding down the highway. When officers pulled over 70-year-old Leonard Olsen he told them he would rather "go to jail than go back home," back to his wife. He explained that he feels like she "treats me like a servant and she's the mistress, and I'm tired of this s***."

When the officers asked him why he was sitting on the sunroof of his Cadillac while barreling down the road at around 100 miles-per-hour, Olsen told them the car was on cruise control.

"The car drives itself and has a gigantic computer in it," Olsen explained. "I thought it would be a nice way to praise God for a minute, and I thought it would be nice at the time and that's what I did."

Officers took Olsen into custody and charged him with reckless driving, which is a misdemeanor.

It is unclear if he went back home to his wife after he released.
