Happy National Ravioli Day

Pasta…an American tradition! Well, actually, an Italian tradition, but with the amount of pizza and pasta we wat in America, it might as well be an American tradition as well. And I’m not just saying that because I’m Italian.

If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know what ravioli are, they are “a traditional type of Italian filled pasta, made up of a filling sealed between two layers of thin egg pasta dough.” They are a pretty diverse pasta actually. You can fill them with pretty much anything. You can ever fry them!

There are over 1,500 national “days”, but this one (along with national pizza and taco day) is one I never miss.
