Lynchburg Humane Society needs your help; 33 dogs seized

A woman has been charged after police seized 33 dogs and 12 pet birds from her property.

Now, all of those dogs and birds are at the Lynchburg Humane Society, and some of those dogs are pregnant; one of the dogs gave birth Sunday night.

The Humane Society helped Lynchburg Police rescue the animals on Wednesday and staff said they were at the shelter until around 12:30 a.m. making sure they were all cared for and everybody was okay and safe.

They could use blankets or towels, puppy chow, and kiddie pools to serve as whelping boxes. They could also use dog crates, puppy pads and toys, and dog collars.
