2 Florida Men Arrested, Facing Multiple Charges For Thefts Across Virginia

Lynchburg Police have arrested two men connected to a string of thefts across the Commonwealth.

According to police, officers reported to Walmart on Old Forest Road in reference to a routine shoplifting incident. While there, they said they were advised by Loss Prevention Staff that two men who were inside the store had just discarded a box containing personal property.

They said it was determined that the property belonged to several individuals from throughout the state.

Police said some of the property included driver’s licenses, credit cards, checks, and social security cards.

Deshawn Lorenzo Louisdor, 19, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Brandon Chritopher Duclos, 20, of Margate Florida were both arrested at the store.

Police said after a detailed search of reported criminal activity throughout Virginia, they learned the property was discarded by the two men and had all been reported stolen as a result of larcenies from vehicles outside of Lynchburg.

According to police, the incident is connected to a fraud report and traffic stop at Union Bank in Bedford on the same day.

Police said both men have each been charged with 48 counts of larceny and theft.

The case is active and ongoing.

LPD is working cooperatively with local, state and federal law enforcement partners to include the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, Chesterfield County Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Secret Service, and others in reference to this case.
