PA Man Faces Charges; Drove To Bedford Co. After Online Chat With Kids

The Bedford County Sheriff's Office said they have arrested a man in an ongoing Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children (SOVA-ICAC) investigation.

The sheriff's office said Lawrence W. Henry Jr., 46, of Normalville, Pennsylvania was arrested by investigators when he traveled to Bedford County on Friday, December 14, 2018.

He's charged with seven counts of use of a communication device to facilitate certain offenses, involving children. Online, it shows he's charged with proposing a sex act by communications system with a minor under the age of 15 but older than seven.

Henry is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
