Marvel's 'Black Panther' was a smash hit when it came out, taking less than a month to make more than $1 billion dollars at the box office worldwide.
It's the highest earning stand-alone Marvel movie, standing in at number 4 below the first 3 collective 'Avengers' films, but it is the first superhero film ever to be nominated for 'Best Picture' in the drama category at the Golden Globes.
