The South Boston Police Department said they are investigating a shooting that let a 26-year-old man injured.
Police said the Halifax County E911 Center got a call around 7:45 p.m. Monday night for shots fired in the Jeffress Boulevard/Broad Street area of South Boston.
Shortly after the call was received, police said officers were also dispatched to the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital Emergency Department for a person there with a gunshot wound.
