Watch: Bear Storm! Teddy Bear Toss Collects 34,000 Bears!

The Teddy Bear Toss is one of the most heartwarming holiday traditions in minor league hockey. The home team scores its first goal of the game,  and thousands of plush toys are hurled from the stands and collected  for charities.

But the fans of AHL's Hershey Bears went above and beyond Monday night!

This year, 10,000 Hershey fans tossed 34,798 teddy bears on the ice! That breaks the 2015 record of 25,000 bears by fans of the Calgary Hitmen.

More than 30 local charities will benefit from this 'Bear Storm'.

Oh... and Hershey eventually did win the game 6-3.
