Tonight was supposed to kick off Scaremare's 2018 season but thanks to Hurricane Michael, that date has been pushed pack.
Scaremare will kick off it's 46th season tomorrow Friday, October 12.
This year's tag line is "your worst nightmare begins here" and they expect 28,000 people to experience 45 minutes of terror over the next few weekends.
The City of Lynchburg is under a tornado watch until 9 p.m., flash flood watch, and wind advisory so Scaremare wants to make sure their volunteers and visitors are safe.
