Marilyn Manson Sexual Assault Case

Marilyn Manson may be known for his shocking visuals and performance antics, fans may be really shocked to learn that a police report was filed back in 2011 citing Manson for unspecified sex crimes. Now, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office has reportedly dropped the case, along with a few other high profile #MeToo-era cases.

The DA says they won’t charge Manson, AKA Brian Warner, because of two factors – the statute of limitations expiring and the “absence of corroboration.” Manson’s attorney Howard E. King says in a statement that he's not surprised the claims were denied. “The allegations made to the police were and are categorically denied by Mr. Warner and are either completely delusional or part of a calculated attempt to generate publicity for the claimant’s business of selling Manson memorabilia,” he adds.

Manson shared his thoughts on #MeToo movement allegations last year, saying, “If you have something to say, you should say it to police and not to the press and handle it that way, first and foremost.”
