A person suffered a trauma injury at the Georgia-Pacific Corporation's plant in Big Island Sunday afternoon.
Officials say the Big Island Volunteer Fire Company received a call at 12:13 p.m. Sunday.
The crew responded along with the Big Island Emergency Crew and Bedford County Fire and Rescue to the the plant at 9636 Lee Jackson Highway.
Officials say the original call said someone's arm was stuck in a machine inside the paper mill complex. But, upon arrival the patient's arm was freed.
The Big Island Emergency Crew was able to transport the patient to the fire house, where a landing zone was set up for the Centra One helicopter.
