I've never been married, but I do have a dog, and I have to say, I might make the same choice.
In Turkey, a man came home to his wife with a new dog.
After some time, the wife told her husband that taking care of the dog is too much extra work.
She gave him an ultimatum...It was either her OR the dog...he chose the dog.
They are now getting a divorced.
