March 13, 2018 - DISH Network announced this morning that the company is planning to move it's Chrisiansburg customer service call center to a new location in the New River Valley this summer. The company opened in 2000.
Currently DISH is located off of Falling Branch Road, just off of I-81. The move is to a new location in the town of Christiansburg. 600 employees work at the Falling Branch location but a company spokesperson said that only 150 employees will work on-site at the new location. The remaining employees will be given an opportunity to work from home, apply for other positions within the company or take a severance package.
