Eagles Announce Tour With Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, Chris Stapleton

The Eagles have announced a string of 2018 dates with a few other massive acts.

The band's revamped lineup, including Deacon Frey in place of his late father, Glenn Frey, has plans to perform in at least 12 North American cities on a light schedule from March through July.

Special guests include, Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor and Chris Stapleton on separate shows.

Eagles and Buffett have a lot of history together and rumors of a tour in 2018 began circulating last week.

Azoff told Ultimate Classic Rock last week that the two acts are discussing a "handful" of shows to celebrate the legendary careers of both bands.

"The Eagles are in an experimental phase," he told UCR. "I look at it as not really an Eagles tour; it's really a celebration of their music. We just kind of do things that feel right. I don't know how long it'll go."
