Join OCC and the Friends of the Old City Cemetery for the 2025 Wreaths Across America ceremony — a powerful and heartfelt tradition to Remember, Honor, and Teach.
Together, we will lay sponsored balsam wreaths on the graves of our nation’s fallen heroes.
The Old City Cemetery is the final resting place for approximately 2,475 veterans, with graves dating from the Revolutionary War through the Iran Conflict — a remarkable and sacred piece of American history right here in Lynchburg.
Wreaths can be sponsored for $17.

Each wreath not only honors a veteran with a live balsam tribute but also supports Wreaths Across America’s mission year-round.
